I was in the pit at the Soundgarden L.A. Forum show last nite and Mike joined Kim during Superunknown!
Freaking phenomonal, Matt was a madman on the drums! The whole show rocked!
Chris's voice was in top shape.

I was there - it was a great, great night - total, awesome surprise to see Mike up there -

And - let's put to rest any further questions about how Cornell's voice is holding up. He was absolutely spot-on last night.

Interestingly, I found it one of the more nostalgic musical experiences I've had lately. In the last couple years I've seen PJ, Vedder solo, Black Crowes, STP... plenty of bands that were part of my life in the 90's, but this Soundgarden show really took me back -

I think one of the main differences is that I've continued on listening to new PJ stuff throughout the late 90's, and through the 2000's, so they've been a continual presence, not a nostalgia thing.

And STP - well, they're a bit Vegas-y now. Kind of in the leather-pants-fedora-Vertical-Horizon-ish world, I hate to say.

But Soundgarden, since they've been out of the picture so long, and they're still lean and mean - it was like being transported back to about 1993 (or so), and it was awesome.
