Actual temp --102
feels like --113

Likely will go above actual temp of 106 ( present record )
and will likely feel like 115 on your skin later in the day.

    Rain in Chicago today... I can't remember the last time it rained during the day. Hopefully that triple-digit shit is behind us.

    It's still supposed to hit 90 this afternoon.

    Third hottest day in history for Boston already today. In a town where everyone is an asshole anyway, this kind of heat drives people crazy.

    Last I checked Portland, ME was 97. Was outside for a bit, but reconsidered pretty quick.

    So glad I am not in a big city. Heat like this in the city is unbearable. Good luck NYC, Boston, and others.

    106 here, too hot to even go to the pool. We may go later, they are having a moonlight swim, it may cool down to 96 by the time it starts at 8pm

    OK we didnt break the record of 106.
    We did get up to 104, but the record stands.

    yeah my family's from AC, i was born & raised in DC...not missing either place today one teeny lil bit. though now i have ac/dc's "get it hot " stuck in my head... :-P
