Been listening to the 2000 Euro tour in order.

While the tour progresses wonderfully and the shows get better and better, the Verona show is off the charts!

The following show in Milan has to be the best of the tour - especially from Daughter on.

If anyone hasn't dusted these off for a while, go relive them! They were incredible shows!

Cheers!

I was listening my boot on my ipod while working this afternoon. It was a great show! I also have the show from Poland, too. When the crowd takes over during the improv of 'Daughter', I get goosebumps. :)

the 2000 euro tour was a real high point for this band.

the us tour was very good too, but understandably the band lost something.
i have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status
  • Agreed on both posts.

The Daughter tag is one of the best of the tour...especially since the crowd interactions taken to the level of the Milan show wasn't nearly as common as it is today nearly every time they play Daughter.

Both Poland shows were amazing - plus I have Polish heritage, so i might be partial!

I also agree that the tragic end to the Euro 2000 tour changed the band (and fans) forever. I'll always remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news. It could have been me or any one of us.

katowice 2 was incredible, i don't think they will ever play another show like that.

that's not to say that its their best show ever....

but, a show where the attendance is so low that they decide to rip up the setlist and just go with the flow, let it all hang out and just kill it....

anyone who hasn't listened ot that boot needs to do themselves a favor.

Amazing....maybe the best boot I've ever owned. It's the only one outside the shows I've been to that ever got tons of plays.

The Verona show has the best Black in history.

Oh and the difference between Daughter at Milan and a lot of other shows is the crowd started the chant, not Ed like at a lot of shows after that. I've never experienced anything like it, guess if you've been to a South American show you can relate.
