PJ20 Downtown Milwaukee Hotels
If you are staying downtown, for which hotel did you opt?
Seems like the Residence Inn by Marriott and The Hampton Inn are closest to the shuttle stop.
The Pfister looks nice, but not sure if I am comfortable with the name!

It's where all the MLB and NBA teams stay while in town. They also say it's haunted, one of the floors.0 -

Wow, I served-up an 86 MPH fastball with the Mc Cready ball, and you knocked it out of the park!
Well played!0 -
If you're driving to Milwaukee, don't forget about the additional parking charge for downtown hotels...most over $20 a night. That's why we opted to stay in the Western suburb of Brookfield.Indy - 08.17.98

Considering Hilton. Hampton Inn or Courtyard Marriott for proximity. Best Western for cost. Aloft for cool factor (and SPG points). I think Hilton is the front runner currently (and yes I am overthinking this!)
Have you looked at rates for Residence Inn? I think it's pretty pricey. So far I've seen posts about folks staying at all of these so you will not be alone where ever you pick, that's for sure.0 -

Yep,for some reason, the residence inn is the most expensive......perhaps you are paying for the proximity to the midwest ocean?0 -
The Pfister is decent, don't be scared.
But, for some reason upon checking in, you do get a complimentary bottle of astroglide. Not sure why. I guess they are just looking out for their guest's needs.0 -

Back in my day, astroglide was the name of the rocketship ride at my local amusement park!0 -
I'm staying with some friends at Milwaukee Athletic Club (758 North Broadway, WI 53202 Milwaukee). We have rent a car, and we are coming from Chicago. Then we will go by car to Alpine Valley.Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me -> Stupid Mop -> Estúpida Fregona -> www.estupidafregona.net0

Great deal on hotwire thanks to my PJ20 travel/ticket partner bburpee keeping his eye out.indybright wrote:If you're driving to Milwaukee, don't forget about the additional parking charge for downtown hotels...most over $20 a night.
