Cover Band @ BB Kings after MSGII ???????

I am going to MSGII and my buddy just told me he picked up tickets for a Pearl Jam cover band in BB King's after the show. He said tickets were $1.00, and the club is only letting people in that has a ticket. Anyone else here of anything like this???????

    i have heard of it .

    I also jhust received my tickets in the mail-
    the tickets arent $1, they are $3 with 1.75 fee for the venue.

    this should be interesting after MSG2 .

    Dumb idea?? It is actually a very good idea. Many people are looking for something to do, and going to a bar to see a PJ cover band is a great place to have a few beers after the show. Why would you think it is a bad idea?

    ten is an amazing cover band.i have nothing but high praise for them. they do the cover band thing right. the lead singer doesnt fake the ed voice at all and sounds excatly like him. i saw them back in march at bb kings and was blown away when they did alive. also there a temple of the dog cover band to so where gonna get a few totd songs.

    Hey all,

    BB Kings called us and wanted to throw a great aftershow party for PJ Fans after MSG II. We planned to be in town anyway for the show so we said of course, WHY NOT ! BBK's and NYC is one of our favorite shows, we've made tons of friends there and BB Kings was offering to do this show for next to nothing for fans.

    We are planning some special stuff to make it fun. We'll have Shane with us and our Temple of the Dog set is ready to roll so we figured why not play the TOTD album along with what ever PJ tunes left off the set lists that night.

    Looking into ways to benefit a charity or two as well (send us your ideas)

    Should be a ton of fun.
