i love these things
the old plain green ones
very cool

think i saw pictures of ed wearin one
nice

they made for great motorcycle wear when i was a younger lad
they made us look older and stuff
and they're kinda warm
had an old korea one, both short and the longer versions

great pockets we'd fill with beer and take off on our bikes or whatever

i really do miss being young
fuckin great times, man

green army coats...i salute you

navy peacoats...forget about it
those things are badass as shit
so heavy warm it's ridiculous

I am tired; my heart is
sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight

When the weather starts to turn, I bust out the olive drab field jacket. It is excellent for carrying keys, beer and at least 3 Nintendo DS systems.

always wanted a nice military coat...don't know why...maybe it's all the shiny buttons down the front...I fancy olive drab green though....

The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

love them both. I have a navy peacoat, and an army green corduroy one that I got in the late 90s. I still rock that thing like I just got it. My favorite coat of all time (including the button that's almost falling off and the hole in the liner in the armpit).
