Help Learning Solo for "Pets" by PFP.

Okay. I know it's a stupid song,
but i'm not a big fan of a lot of new music, and i am DEFINITELY not a fan of paying for CDs anymore, so when i drive i listen to whatever CDs i still have that aren't scratched to all hell.
One of those is Porno For Pyros - S\T
Was listening to the guitar work in Pets ... and the distortion combined with the Wah make it hard to discern.
The tab up on the net is like an F# with open B and e strings, then allegedly some E type chord up at 6 with either a B# or a C

But can anyone help out with the LAST solo piece?
I gave up on the first solo. Too much noise. Probably overdubs and harmonics,
but the last one SOUNDS simple, i just have shit for ears.
I come up with something like:

and as far as MY ears are concern it basically repeats the same thing 4 times or so.
however I know (or at least i THINK) i can discern the actual chord moving UP ... but i don't think its that

I'm also pretty sure there are TWO guitars during that solo.
one playing the actual rythm that follows the whole song,
and another with heavy heavy wah\distortion playing either single notes or appregiated chords.
ANYONE WITH SOME SKILLS IS CAN HELP ???
