Favorite year of official bootlegs?

My favorite year is 2006.
They sound so great, its remarkable. I love that tour anyway, because the self-titled was, I think, some of their best work, and loved how Eddie's voice sounded on that tour. The song selection was great, too. But the quality of the bootlegs is fantastic. Definitely my favorite year to listen to on official bootlegs.

Favorite shows - 5/24 in Boston, 7/7 in San Diego, 8/27 Reading Festival, 9/16 Verona, Italy,
MSG II 5/21/10

2005. Hands down. Incredible setlists, huge variety, epic shows. 9/11, 9/15, 9/19, and 10/5 being the standouts for me. My favorite post-millenium PJ tour.

Agree with this...05 and 06 are also good..but 03 is the best to these ears.

08 is the worst by far.

2006 gets my vote in terms of the band's actual performances. I think they were on-fire that tour and I don't think they've played as well consistently since. Sure there has been some great gigs on the last few tours but I think 2006 was much more consistent. The band sounded so tight that tour

2000 sound the best, but I'd give 03 the edge in sound/setlist combined.

I just can't vote for '05/'06 because I can't hold the actual disc. The digital thing just irked me (although saved me a ton of $$)

    I love the '03s

Euro '10 shows are pretty damn good

2006. Great tour and boots sound great too.

05 had good sets but quality was kinda bad and I hated how they didnt split some songs.

I think each year the produce them the sound gets worse.

2000 is by far the best sounding boots. 2009 and 2010 it's almost like they aren't playing in front of a crowd.

  • Its funny, the tours have been inconsistent with sound quality. Depends what you want too.

I prefer the boots that have more band and less crowd. I love hearing them "play". I would rank them this way...

the 2000 boot's r my fav,and then 2003 are great,i wish then would re-release both sets, cause with cd's and thing like that over the years u move or whatever, things happen and stuff gets lost.there just are some shows i had that did get lost that i'd love to be-able to get back(like the spectrum 2003)they were doing (fortunate son) that tour and they where just epic shows.also still hoping that eddie will release his solo boots from both tours, but we can wish wish cant we :) well thanks for your time and all the best, kevin

2010 have the best set lists in my opinion...bar none...the problemo that i'm having though is with the sound...
i love to play it loud...i mean..volume full, loud...no matter if its 6am on way to work...full blast on the volumn (39yrs old also)...my problem is with the 2010 boots...im having the most prob adjusting the bass/treble/mid to get it sounding the best...all the other boots, not so much of this prob but with the 2010...its sound is much differ...and this is my fav set lists!!!...ya'll prolly think im nuts cause its a small issue but...anyone else have this?

2000 the best by a long shot.

2006 and 2003 next on the list, the rest have been so-so in terms of quality.
