The return of the old-fashioned multiple band stadium show!
Should be a great show of diversity!
The MUSE fans on the field better run for cover once Muse finishes their set, and the RATM fans start moving up close to the stage!

Hmmmm....a chance to see my second RATM show there after the very strange U2 opening spot they had back in the day.
That place is pretty shady for events. especially a RATM show
Remember they were supposed to have a RATM/Beastie Boys /At the Drive-In show at the Coliseum back in the 90s.....it was cancelled due to a B-Boy being injured.
I'll be at LA Rising. I've got an extra ticket for face value as well if anybody's Interested. See you there.
We have an extra pair in Sec 22 Row 26......I was able to get us apair in 25 row 17
Where you sitting?
Show was pretty good. I was once again unimpressed with Lauryn Hill (after Coachella & LA Rising). Her sets seem like they're just an ongoing soundcheck and that they don't rehearse beforehand (I know she just had a baby). I'm not a Rise Against fan but they definitely got the crowd going and I realized how many of their songs I was familiar with from them being played out on the radio. Muse was awesome. Having previously seen them at Vegoose in '07, it was good to see them again and they rose to the occasion. Just wish I would have been able to see more of their visual but I could basically see the screens and front of stage (http://instagr.am/p/JDN_I/). It was my 7th time seeing Rage and despite the sound problems during "Testify," they always bring it. Loved hearing "Down Rodeo." I don't think the Grand Olympic show in '00 will ever be topped as my favorite RATM show but I never tire of seeing them live. So great.
One thing I wasn't really pleased with though is being raked over the coals paying $25 to park, then $5 for water when LA Rising's website had it advertised at $2 and they wouldn't let you bring it in. Then I saw it later on in the day at different concessions stands for $3 and $4, but never $2. Only a small damper on the day though. Hope you enjoyed!
