Dallas Area PJ Fan Gathering This Saturday!

A couple of people in the Dallas area have been talking about meeting up to have a few drinks and discuss all things Pearl Jam (and anything else). This would also be a great way to meet everyone before PJ20 along with others from the area who won't be able to attend. I thought I would throw a date out there and see what happens. How does everyone feel about August 6th at The Londoner in Uptown?

I've never been here before so we can also try another location if anyone else has some suggestions.

    I am for the first time feeling sad that I am moving from Uptown Dallas to Chicago NEXT WEEK! I would have loooooooved to meet you guys! The Londoner is great, and their hummus and sticky toffee cake are highly recommended. Have fun! See you in WI!

    I was at Top Golf a few weeks ago and I bet they played nearly the entire Ten album.

    Coworker/friend named Seth S. said he would probably be there as well. He joined the Facebook group so he might respond on there.

    I lived in Dallas for 14 years out in west Texas now Love to join in on some good times. But with all my travels to see this band my wallet is hurting a bit. What about a gathering at alpine too might that be in your plans?

    Let me know if you don't have Facebook and I'll PM you the details as soon a thes PJ20 plans are finalized. There will probably be a thread about it on the board as well.

    Sounds like Uptown! I wore my EV Uke Tour shirt to Primo's Friday night and felt out of place with all the douches in their button ups even though it's 103 degrees!

    Maybe they need a Pearl Jam Show to set em right!!! Oh wait, that's a different thread ;) Yeah it's different from most places, but not all bad. I mean, I live(d) here! And the area where the Londoner is stays pretty real. You guys have a great time. I'll wave from the north!

    That night will also be a good time to discuss the PJ20 screening at the Magnolia! I'm suprised but excited Dallas made the list.

    Very happy about that! Have you bought your tickets yet? I've never been to The Magnolia...Anyone have any comments about the theater?
