Let's not stereotype.
Just because Mary is so fem Prince told her to "butch it up" and he was recently mistaken for Bea Arthur doesn't mean that he's gayer than Richard Simmons at a Village People concert.
All kissing...er... kidding aside... I've known a LOT of gay men who are very masculine, don't look/act/come across as "gay."
But in my many years of working with both gay and straight men... I've NEVER... ever... known a straight man who looked/acted/spoke like Marcus Bachmann AND the fact that he runs one of those "ex-gay brain butcher ministries" is pretty much proof that he's so gay that his closet door one day is going to explode with such force that his neighbour's grandchildren will get splinters.
Just as an aside... Michele Bachmann loves to go on and on about all the "Foster Children" she had. Her numbers and facts don't quite match up but one fact isn't debated.... of the 42 she had... every single one was a girl.
Now... you think that maybe Michele was trying to... Keep Marcus away from the little boys? Or you think that Michele herself is.... shall we say "fond of little girls?"

This Washington State Representative has an anti-gay rights voting record--he voted against domestic partnerships for gays and opposed a bill prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Ted Haggard
Known as Pastor Ted to his congregation at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ted Haggard was outed by prostitute, and professional masseur, Mike Jones in November 2006 for paying him to engage in sex with him for three years.
Glenn Murphy Jr.
Glenn Murphy Jr., former head of the Young Republicans and one of the (former) leading Republicans of Indiana, always advocated "straight" family values and straight forward sexual orientation views.
He was caught (finally, the second time he did it) performing fellatio on another Young Republican while that man slept, without that man's consent.
David Dreier
David Dreier is a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives who has voted against gay marriage rights, gay legal rights and gay adoption rights and was part of an organization called "Californians for Bush" in 2004.
He's been accused of having sex with members of his staff and even paying his alleged boyfriend a high salary (like any politically-corrupt, good boyfriend should.)
Bruce Barclay
Bruce Barclay, the Republican commissioner of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, is practically the gay p**n star of politics. Due to an allegation of r**e by 20-year-old male Marshall McCurdy, police obtained a warrant to search Barclay's home on March 31st.
They didn't find evidence of r**e.
Instead, they found videotapes of hundreds of sexual encounters with men that Barclay filmed on high-tech surveillance cameras. It was apparent that Barclay and McCurdy had consensual sex.
Roy Ashburn
On March 3, 2010, this conservative California State Senator, who always votes against any gay-rights bills, should have just stayed in for the night.
But then again, if he did, he wouldn't have accidentally outted himself in such a grand way.
As the story goes, after leaving a gay bar with an unidentified man, Roy Ashburn was arrested for DUI.
Jim West
Spokane Mayor Jim West has worked really hard to debilitate gay rights in his community. He supported a bill to ban gays and lesbians from working in schools, daycare centers, and some state agencies, as well as a bill that bars the state from distributing pamphlets informing people how to protect themselves from HIV/AIDS.
He's proposed that "any touching of the sexual or other intimate parts of a person" among teens be considered a criminal act.
However, for 25 years, West was having sexual relationships with boys and young men from his community and was, before he was caught, frequenting the very incognito website--just to show you his ninja skills--gay.com

Ken Mehlmen
Bush Jr. Campaign Chief and former RNC Chairman. It was his idea to put as many anti-gay ballot measures to a vote in 2004 to get as many evangelicals to the polls in close-vote states. The anti-gay marriage talking points like "anti-family" or "this will end in people marrying their dog" and "children will be forced to learn gay sex in kindergarten" were all made up by him.
It was his idea to get Bush to pretend he was going to have a constitutional amendment and he DID get many constitutional amendments passed in many states along with ballot initiatives that blocked gay couples from adopting, blocked gay rights and hurt gay families.
He recently came out as gay himself.

Well people like... .them... get elected by making people afraid of me... calling me "From Satan" and saying I'm a "Barbarian who needs to be educated."
They say letting my husband and I have equality will lead to people having sex with dogs and people molesting kids.
They also say that gay people can be "cured." (and they make money fooling people into thinking that)
So... sorry if it upsets you... but I do have a bit of a chip on my shoulder about that.
No, I'm not judging your lifestyle choices. Regardless of your political leanings, the "little girls" comment at the end of that tirade was out of line. I know the exchanges get heated here and we've had our spats, but seriously, that was disconcerting.
What I find disconcerting is that she has had 42 foster daughters and she and her obviously-gay-but-in-the-closet husband seem to have very similar stances on homosexuality to the list of violently-homophobic-but-gay people above.
So yeah. I'm quite worried about the safety of a child left alone with either one of those people.
As should anyone who's been paying attention.
