Does anyone who was at EV Oakland Night 1 know if the Pump Organ Song that Eddie played was based on a song or was it just random? I am building set lists in iTunes for some of his performances and I have a gap where that organ was played because I don't know what to put in that slot. Thanks.

Wondering the same thing too! It was awesome hearing him play, never saw him do that before.

Watch the water on the road DVD. It may have very well been Canyon. He played that in Detroit after he got fed up with ARC.

I'm curious about this song also. Someone said that there were words too.

he was looking down at his set list, glancing around, standing up, looking indecisive, kinda bouncing around then said, "I should try this..." and sat down at the organ.

yes, definitely developed lyrics, organ mostly back and forth between two notes with little triplet runs or step between, then a shift down for a chorus...

coming away, going away, take me away, coming down, all this all that, (some long notes held out, long wolf-like calls), in here in there -- almost thought there was an "all you need is love" line -- kinda thought it was Wasted Reprise at first, but definitely not.

slow pace of course, got me thinking of some peter gabriel stuff, seemed vaguely familiar....

    hauntingly familiar
and then we headed over to Lukin's!
    [sic] happens
