it's really not a bad song. i wouldn't feel guilty about liking it.

her album is actually pretty good. and her cover of the wolves is great as well
  • She is also an admitted Pearl Jam fan. Extra brownie points for her on that. Found her record via online trickery last year when it was initially coming out in England. Loved it and glad she is taking off in the US. Now to just get people in the US to wise up to the brilliance of Gotye.
i remember you...i was gonna vote for you one time...but voting isn't cool so i stayed home and got trashed on listerine.

I'm also an Ellie Goulding fan. She was sporting a stickman shirt on her Instagram a while back. http://instagram.com/p/VX_o6dTfW-/ She's definitely a fan. Found this quote from an interview she did:

"As for her own vocals – which are, without doubt, among the most exciting in Britain right now – Ellie credits her teenage PEARL JAM obsession with giving her larynx its raspy edge.
She said: “That’s something I’ve always had since I started singing. I think it comes from my love of Pearl Jam. They made me really go for it.
“It went away for a bit because I think I was taming it, but then I realised it’s a big part of my voice."

I like that song too. I don't even think it should be a guilty pleasure because she has a lot of talent. I bought her album and liked about only half of it though.

Dang! Only by one day? That's sad. Speaking of EG, look what she posted on Instagram yesterday! http://instagram.com/p/br8-WLTfXy/ She also tweeted, "Can I please hang out with Eddie Vedder now." No question, she's a fan. Who knows. Maybe run into her at a show at some point? :D I also found this little bit with her talking about Ten http://www.amoeba.com/whats-in-my-bag/detail/535/

I saw her do an acoustic pop up show one afternoon earlier this year outside the LA County Museum of Art and it was actually really good. Haven't listened to much of her music but I thought she was great unplugged.
