I love this song.... I think that is one of the best songs on Avocado (behind come back and WWS) but I really dont understand the linesand the lyrics.
for example;
tried to walk found a severed hand...recognized it from the wedding band
its ok do you want some more I say yes... youll se dragons after three or four I say yes.
Im not falling down... take a look around rooms taller now.
I can close my eyes cuase I see the sound in waves....
And it goes on... I dont see any coherence line in this song... If you do please explain to me....

i think what he said was that it was about a hallucinagenic spiritual journey he went on in south america with the aid of some natural "devices."
I have no actual explanation for this, but I thought the wedding band meant like a band that played at the wedding.....and that someone recognized it from the wedding band. I thought the words said they recognized him from the wedding band.......(don't know the exact words) and then of course, yeah, I too thought that it referred to drugs ......tripping like drugs.......and although I have never done ecstasy but I guess it is a tripping like thing?

It's not considered a trip. Like when you do acid you are tripping but when you do ecstasy you're said to be "rolling."
