7-Eleven's Free Slurpee Day celebrates an American tradtion

Mark your calendars, America: Monday, July 11, is Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven. To commemorate its 84th birthday, the convenience store chain plans to give away 5 million free Slurpees to hot, thirsty people at over 8,600 locations in North America in an event officially known as 7-Eleven Day.

    Damn it... WE are 26 minutes into the 12th of July in Australia... I would have shivered my way through a slurpee if they were running it in Aust...

    Slurpee's were the most exciting thing to buy as a kid in Summer.
    I haven't had one since I was a kid :shock:

    Coke + cherry = MEGA AWESOME.

    And 'm seeing Ed tonight, a slurpee afterwards will be perfect! Whenever I see him or PJ I"m always super thirsty after. When I saw him at Berkeley I ran RIGHT past Sean Penn for the water fountain...friends told me I had just cruised by him. All I saw was water lol

    few more hours left to get a free slurpee today. I was playing words with friends and ad came up about a free slurpee. The cup sizes are only 7.11 oz. (bout the size of the plastic bathroom cups), but it sure hit the spot!
