i don't know. i guess it depends if people like flammable water and getting sick from taking a shower. it would not be worth it to me...

interesting to note that halliburton was the only company that failed to divulge to the EPA the chemicals they use in fracking..

  • It's pretty scary, isn't it?

The people we elect to represent us are the ones who are taking money from them to keep it legal to do that.

this is another case of profiteering above everything else ... all under the guise of jobs and reducing our reliance on foreign oil ... no one ever factors in the environmental damage ...

I am extremely close to this subject and although pollution is the sexy problem with this it's more of a problem relating to rights.

The fundemental question regarding gas or oil drilling of this nature is: do the rights of the people living on the surface supercede the rights of those who own things beneath the surface or is it the other way around?

Additionally, since one person can own the rights to access the area beneath thousands of people does he have the right disrupt thier lives in any way in the pursuit of excercising his right in accessing said area?

Unless you can resolve these issues OR you can undeniably determine what harm this process does you will always have unregulated gas drilling.

Yes, I agree, GASLAND talks about those issues. It's kind of frightening.
