I LOVE The King of Limbs...I feel if the album was recorded with more of a live feeling like this...classic

I wasn't a huge fan of TKOL, but I like this basement session more than the studio album.

Agreed. The album should have sounded like this with The Daily Mail, The Butcher, Super Collider and Staircase.

Obviously not all of those songs, but they could have knocked it out of the park...but I love The King of Limbs

(not to mention These Are My Twisted Words and Harry Patch)

TKOL sessions really resulted in some good songs. Codex still blows me away.

What do you think, Pap? To be honest, these songs feel very In Rainbowy to me live. The guitars on Magpie are amazing and I like the addition of Phil 2.0

That's what I really loved about this live footage. It was my first time listening to The King Of Limbs. I need some time to let some songs grow on me. On the other hand, I have to admit that I didn't fell in love with it from the first time like I did with In Rainbow.

Yeah. In Rainbows is one of those that just clicked right away. Maybe it's because they toured those songs for two years and most fans knew them already and these songs were so new or re-arranged.

I can see TKOL getting Amnesiac like support eventually. Hell, Codex alone makes the album. Thom's voice sounds amazing, and it REALLY sounds good on the Basement takes.

"The Daily Mail" and "Staircase" are two great new songs. I hope we'll get to hear recorded versions eventually. Really liked the entire performance, there's a couple songs that I felt lost something in the live version, like "Little by Little" and "Separator," but a bunch sounded better, especially "Bloom" and "Feral".

I think Daily Mail is crazily amazing. I wonder why it was left off the album.
