They are serious about the debt!!!

As long as the cuts only affect people in the US and especially the poor and brown people.

Even a libertarian must agree that the gov't should provide for security. Does he disagree with the size of the defense bill or that there is one to begin with?

Smelly -- keeping the brownies in line is expensive, dontchaknow.

I'm pretty sure he disagrees with the size of it. And the fact that it's being used on needless wars overseas instead of simply being used for security purposes at home.

It sickens me what the TEA Party has become, it sickens me that she and Palin are supported. What started as a good idea sure got hijacked.

Pretty sure Libertarians are OK with spending on defense. It is the staggering size of the spending bill that is insulting though. The Tea Party screams and cries about wasteful spending but has no problems appropriating the funds for that 12th nuclear powered carrier right? You know, because we need 12 of them.

    Its a nice start.

Too bad China spends about 10x that.

And to any Google grads that would post "facts" regarding that statement- China doesn't publish what they really spend.... It's classified.

    haha. fair enuf.

But, the US guestimates based on what we DO know- experts on the subject have stated that it is of great concern, because the only other country to comparatively spend like this was pre-WWII Germany.

It looks like they are getting ready for evrything but peace.

    Just sayin...
