BEWARE!!!!!

I met about 5 people yesterday that got burned with Fake tickets!!
This isn't the scalpers doing it, it's fraudsters who are selling away from the venue - so you need to make sure you're inspecting your tickets .... I would ask to see ID and maybe write down the person's ID number on the ticket. The tickets were all sold for just a little over face value, about 125.
You would be surprised, but even the Scalpers at the show were trying to help these people out.
Glad I was able to help one guy get in..... It ended up working out MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER FOR HIM!!!

but for those few out there who weren't able to get in because they were burned I totally feel for you....

Be smart out there people.....

IF YOU'RE BUYING FROM SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE VENUE, INSIST ON TAKING A PHOTO OF THEIR DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH YOUR CELL PHONE CAMERA.
A legitimate person should have no problem with this.

If going with a second person, you can have one person with the seller outside waiting to give him the cash, then once the first person makes it inside the doors, the second person gives the seller the cash.
...with all the print-at-home tickets and other forgeries, this is only getting more likely to happen.

I would absolutely have a problem with that. There's too much information on a DL that is personal to that individual that shouldn't be shared with a complete stranger since you don't know what they might do with that info afterwards.
However I would have no issues walking to the front door with that person in order to make them feel comfortable that I was indeed selling them a valid ticket.

For buying, my policy has always been hard tickets only. I've bought tickets from Craigslist to other shows several times and I only buy hard tickets because that way you know what you're getting. If I ever buy e-tickets, it'll be a "walk in with me" deal.
