how many people on the thread own and ride a motorcycle......not the one parked in the garage for months at a time.
Godfather.
really? really? are you insinuating that we need to be drivers in order to have a valid point? that argument holds NO water, no matter what the subject.
NO !...NO! HELMETS IN Ca.. were a choice up intell 89 or 90 and they should be a choice today,
it's not and argument of safty practices anybody knows a helmet MAY save your life in mototcycle crash
the argument is MY right as an adult to make the choice to wear a melmet or not when I ride and insurance companys will fuck you out of as much money as possible helmet or not...fuckin crooks !
and my 5 years post was not to say that after 5 years you will not get in a crash my point was NEED EXPERIANCE on a motorcycle..I can't believe you twisted that post into what you did, are you willing to just agree with everything our government tells you and asks you give up a personal freedom,
your arguments for safty are great but they are split by your blindness for my rights as a rider.

I generally follow laws, yes, but ESPECIALLY the ones I know protect me and others. But I don't necessarily do it because of the possible ticket, I do it because it's common sense. I don't drink and drive because I might get a DUI, I don't drink and drive because I might hurt myself or someone else.
driving a motorcycle is not a right, it's a priveledge, so arguing personal freedom makes absolutely no sense. if you want personal freedom to kill yourself, then I guess that's your right.
I didn't twist your post. you said "wear a helmet for 5 years and then you make the decision". I deduced that you were saying that after five years of experience, that elminates your possibility of a crash. if that's not what you meant, then what was the point of it?
