I keep reasding posts about people taking pics & Ed smiling for their shots, etc. I thought there was a no camera policy. Anyone know anything different. (Plus, there are tons of videos on youtube.)

going to DC - would love a few pictures (would be considerate not to use my flash in his face)

thanks.

sneek them in --that is the key --they were VERY lax in Montreal, but not sure how they will be in the states. You could have brought in a BAZOOKA if you wanted in montreal. I was patted down by a chick who want nothing to do with my crotch. lol

  • the first day they told people with cameras that they weren't allowed, but that was like if they had them in their hands or around their necks or in their bags. they didnt even check us the second day in NY. and none of the ushers seemed to care. i guess it's different with each venue, but i'm guessing for the most part they really don't care. i'd say bring your camera, but be careful and conceal it when you get in in case they do check you

seriously...when its just one guy with a guitar (minus one or two guest)..it becomes more of a distraction than anything

leave the cameras at home and just enjoy the solo show
  • i didnt bring a camera to NJ and i wish i did. they didnt pat anyone down. they just checked bags (very lax at that btw). i was 12th row and they were looking for flashes from the 1st row back. people in from of me were taking pics. i even saw a professional camera in front of me. i advise turning off the flash and kind of hiding it. people r sitting so its easy to get a good pic.

  • it was more worth it to bring it to be able to use the video recording part of it. it'll make you cry when he plays MOTH or picture in a frame etc.. being able to replay those songs and recapture the night is wonderful :)

at toronto 2, when he played man of the hour, i broke out in tears, like never before. i mean, in water fall.

for taking pictures, everybody was there flashing away. at both montreal & toronto show's. ed's ok. as for video, hmmm ...
  • I was in 4th row aisle second night, and within the first 4 rows, there had to be 10 cameras or more recording. Security gave a half ass attempt to shut a few down, but really didn't seem to care. Ed definitely played into these cameras/digital recordings at different times - often when standing playing guitar.
