i just read about this earlier today....should be quite interesting.
I hope they stuck to straight up good music and didn't try too hard to reinvent the wheel though. I am always a bit leery of supergroups
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

This is an embarrassment to Rolling Stones fans. The first single is horrible. As a Rolling Stone fanatic who has attended over 100 Stones shows....this likely marks the ends of the Greatest Rock and Roll band in the world. Aside from Mick (and to a lesser extent Joss Stone), this does not constitute a supergroup. These musicians would likely be playing the 3PM set at the local riverboat casino.

I'm beyond enraged at this point with Mick. This must be revenge directed at Keith for his "tiny todger" comment in his book!
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

I get that if you are a rolling stones purist then this new venture may seem blasphemous. Fair enough. But this comment is ridiculous. How can you say that Joss Stone is MORE worthy than Damian Marley or Dave Stewart? Damian Marley is arguably the most innovative reggae/dancehall artist of the past ten maybe twenty years. I don't even like Dave Stewart, but his work with Annie Lennox alone puts him way above Joss Stone.

anyway...i think we all know that the TRUE end of the greatest rock and roll band in world happened circa 1985:

yup. i think this band has nothing to do with the rolling stones.

love joss but her PR people suck. i missed her twice live because there was no media notice. she's going to be on tv soon. i just happened to see it on her tour page. no word on her main page, no word on her FB wall, no email.

Great musicians? Yes. Supergroup....no. Walk up to the average person on the street ask them who Dave Stewart is...you're more likely to get "nascar driver" as an answer than musician. Same goes for the others aside from Mick and Joss Stone. I'm not a fan of theirs, but The Traveling Wilburys...supergroup. the Dirty Mac....supergroup...SuperHeavy.....keep it.
