August, 1965 .Taken as a six year old to see Mike Bloomfield , Paul Butterfield, and Al Kooper . Don't remember much. My second show was more memorable for me. August, 1967. The Monkees headlined Temple Stadium in Philly.Their opener was a band whose showstopper was a lefty guitarist named Jimi. Sometimes it does pay to have yoiur aunt, then a cool hippie chick, babysit for you.
Almost forgot. My last show was -X- and The Detroit Cobras at Irving Plaza last night. Both bands were en fuego.

arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
slide in sideways, BBQ sandwich in one hand, cold beer in the other,
body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Woo Hoo what a
ride" ! Unknown
