one day i walked into the annandale to buy tix for a gig. i cant remember who the headliner was, but the guy behind the bar said i should come early to catch the support - violent soho. he mentioned they were grunge and i said well nirvana is my fave band. he said if that was the case then id like violent soho. so on that recommendation i did come early and i did like what i heard. are they grunge? what is grunge... aside from a marketing tool and a need to classify music?

Grunge is dead & it doesn't need to brought back to life, especially in Australia. We dont need any more Silverchairs. Please dont tag bands with any genre(especially grunge) cause at the end of the day it just rock n roll.

Grunge is dead, rock is dead.
Why revive things, need something new and fresh.
