I've heard a few songs by them but never really listened to their stuff. After watching their Behind the Music on VH1 Classic, I decided to check them out. Anyone into them?

they are pretty good - I grew up hearing them a lot on the radio - one of the best rock singing voices ever, they do great covers of a few Led Zeppelin songs.

I agree, Ann is a really good singer and Nancy is a pretty good guitar player (I might add underrated next to her).

I'm not a big fan of female singers but I think she has one of the best voices for sure. :)

I took my daughters to see them this year for their first concert. It was very impressive actually.

They were actually just on the Paladia Channel.. It was pretty good but, they ended with "Love Reign O'er Me" and, well, they don't do it as well as these other guys I like.

Sidenote: The one that plays guitar is fukn hot!

I caught a little bit of that. They were playing "Dreamboat Annie" in order. I didn't catch the whole thing. I'll have to look it up and see if it'll be on again.

The first band i ever saw live......the Wilson sisters are perhaps the best female representatives in rock, period......Ann, the lead singer, has an amazing voice and i've been to dozens of concerts since that show, and few singers, man or woman, have surpassed her range or strength.....Nancy holds her own as a guitarist as well, and yes, especially in their day, was very easy on the eyes :P ....Their most commercially successful album was their self-titled release, but you can't go wrong with any of the early stuff either including "Dreamboat Annie", "Little Queen" and "Dog and Butterfly" (which is much more mellow than the other two)....great acoustics and harmonies!

Of course, Heart are AMAZING. I've seen them live recently too, and they are still amazing. Ann is the most impressively awesome singer. Listen to the song 'Bebe Le Strange,' they are like the female led zeppelin at times, and Chris Cornell's version of Ave Maria with Ann on backup vocals is really beautiful; as is Heart's cover of 'Ring them bells' with Layne Staley...

Nice write-up. I was searching my dad's records last night and found "Dreamboat Annie". I really enjoyed. Looking forward to checking out their other stuff, also.

Crazy On You is one of the most awesome songs. However, I was a child of the 80s and I am definitely partial to their 80s stuff.

"Crazy On You" has one of the best guitar intro's to a song I've ever heard. Well done Nancy. I've been listening all morning to them (my cousin has most of their stuff) and I'm on Magazine right now.
