Cue the jokes about "tiger blood," "Adonis DNA" and "winning."

Charlie Sheen will be the subject of Comedy Central's next roast, network reps announced Tuesday.

The Comedy Central Roast Of Charlie Sheen will tape in Los Angeles on Sept. 10 and will premiere Sept. 19 (10 p.m. ET) – the same night that Ashton Kutcher will make his debut as Sheen's replacement on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.

After Sheen's whirlwind year, which included a bizarre media tour and one-man shows around the country, the roasters – who have yet to be announced – certainly won't suffer from a lack of material.

"Nothing will be off-limits," according to a release from Comedy Central.

Officially unemployed at the moment, the actor seems to be in good humor about the special.

"You could say I've been providing kindling for this Roast for a while," he said in the release. "It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic."

Previous Comedy Central roasts have featured celebrities like Donald Trump, Joan Rivers and Sheen's pal David Hasselhoff.

Should be funny, but I hope they shake things up a little.

Don't know how you roast a guy who has no shame, already publicizes his dirty laundry, lives a life everyone knows about. Roast comedy seems to be about the presenting the unexpected to the audience and pushing envelopes. The comedians better have their A Game writing hats on because there's very little about his behavior that can surprise an audience any more. Sheen is practically living a version of The Aristocrats. The Bob Saget version.

Lisa Lampanelli should be good. I hope Gilbert Gottfried is there. Always hoping for more greatness from Jeff Ross.

Greg Giraldo would have been a good one for this. My favorite line of his was at a roast where he described someone as having the "...sex appeal of a school bus fire."

    Tonight's the night!
Roasters include comedians Jon Lovitz, Patrice O'Neal, Amy Schumer, Kate Walsh, William Shatner, Harvey Levin, Steve-O, Mike Tyson, Anthony Jeselnik and Jeffrey Ross. Hosted by Roast Master Seth MacFarlane. Slash is supposed to make a special appearance too.

A few months ago and the ratings for this would have been through the roof. I'm sure it will do well tonight too though.

He was bad, but it felt like some sorta setup by the writers or whoever. He's probably that stupid, but I don't think anybody can be that horrible. I almost felt bad for him.

I thought it was a setup too. I didn't even know a roast had happened until I saw all the FB updates about how bad he was that night.

This world would be a much worse place if not for mike Tyson.

ahahha Mike Tyson was a riot..He attempted to button his jacket like 100 times at the podium and couldnt..either really nervious or really coked up..Probably both. God bless him and his pigeons.
"Going where the water tastes like wine!"
  • That was some funny shit. Tyson is completely out of his mind....he kept chiming in while the other roasters were up there...fucking crazy. That Amy Schumer chick was probably the funniest.....couldnt believe she made a Ryan Dunn joke w/ Steve-o there....but it's a roast, nothing is off limits! Jeff Ross and Jeselnik were pretty damn good too. These things still aren't the same though without Greg Giraldo...he was the best.

Yeah, I guess there were alot of people complaining about that joke. People are such whineasses. She didn't even say anything bad about him.

It seemed like some of the roasters weren't ready to get roasted. Lotta serious/semi angry faces that they panned to. Shoulda had Slash roast, as he really seemed to be lovin it.

All in all pretty solid though.

I thought the joke of the night was from the Grey's Anatomy gal about the disgusting growth on Jezelnek's penis being Amy Shumer.

Tyson had some higher points, but to me he was like the Situation of this years roast. His banter during the other roasters was better than his actual roasting.

The low point was Steve-o running into Tyson's fist. The old Steve-o woulda taken an actual punch.

I thought the Patrice Oneal was awful. Is he an actual comedian?

I know, its crazy people would actually complain about a joke at a roast.

Patrice O'neal was really bad...I wasnt too familiar with him before the roast. Surprised he was the closer.

What I don't get is why they always have a couple people who aren't comedians at all and obviously have their jokes written him. I get the Tyson thing, but Kate Walsh? Besides being really hot and great to look at, what does she bring to the table here?
