    Hey laugh all you want but kid rock can hold his own when it comes to shows. Either you've never seen him live or you got thrown off his tour bus! :lol:

    While I don't doubt that, its still definately not how I'd ever want to spend my time...

    And nothing is posted about solo/R7. I'm thinking by his lonesome.

    Solo would be killer though.

    I saw Ben Harper in Chicago Friday night and he was fantastic. He was with a band for some of the show and solo for some of the show.

    Couldn't make it tonight. Got home from Minneapolis at 5:30pm, got together with my family to light some fireworks, and now gotta get to bed 'cause I have to work tomorrow morn.

    But I expect a full report from you guys by the time I get home from work! :D

    Got tix for The Black Keys on Wednesday though!!!

    Got tix for The Black Keys on Wednesday though!!!

    Just got home and WOW was he good. Kinda sucked having to stand on top of the benches the whole time. Don't people know the ground is even more comfortable to stand on??

    2 straight hours and he and his band were phenomenal!

    He even busted out my favorite song: Fly One Time!! It was incredible. This Dick behind me wouldn't shut up so I moved up two rows next to some fellow 10 club members and the show got much better! Way too much pot smoke in the air the whole night pissed me off, but I tried to ignore it.

    Ben thanked the crowd for a show he'd never forget. Just a great time.

    Can't wait for the black keys on Wednesday! Gotta get a poster though!

    i wanted to see ben, never have, and totally forgot about this summerfest show. my sis went to the chi show said it was her favorite of the 3 times she's seen him...said he played for 2 hr 50 min...crazy esp since he played a show the night before. someday...

    glad to hear the show was good. I'm also going to the Black Keys on Wed., and will probably pick up a poster as well. I don't think it will be difficult to find one after the show if you don't feel like carrying it around.

    Amazing show, as expected. Great energy, great sound!!
    Great set, even though very 'fest-ish' which is expected. For sitting on a chair half the time, he sure as hell can still rock our asses off!!

    Ben is a great, emotional performer.

    The fireworks lasted like 40+mins. That was pretty cool too.

    Ben always gives such an amazing show...I still can't believe he won't be at PJ20 :(
    but at least I get to see him in DC in October :D
