Ok having been born and raised in California, it was always said.. "if you want it to rain, just wash your car." So Cali's "Rain Dance" would then be washing your car; so far; Colorado's "Rain Dance" seems to be mowing the lawn..Any other odd things in different states that it never fails to seem to bring on rain?

When I lived on the Olympic Peninsula the rule was for every mile you drive west on 101 add 1" of rain. So up there it's sort of a progressive rain dance.

Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.
