I just finished reading Satch's biography a couple of weeks ago and have been on a big kick because of it. I stopped collecting his albums after "Is There Love In Space?", but have now bought the handful that came after.Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"0 -
Listening to him now. I collected EVERYTHING until 2010, Black Swans And The Wormhole Wizards. My life got out of whack once I moved to Florida away from city life. Met Joe backstage at the 9:30 Club in DC, really cool but had a mind that seem to go at warp speed talking to him. I'll collect all the rest in time, he puts out albums not always the best they always usually will be gem or two that must hear over and over. Saw him during this tour playing this title song....@ the 4:30 mark my favorite Galaxy shows up.BinFrog said:

I think every album is almost bulletproof through Crystal Planet and then, as you said, you knew you'd have a few gems. After I filled in the rest of the catalog I think the weakest one is Super Colosus, but I need to give it another spin.
My favorite is the self-titled album. So raw and sooooooo bluesy.
