Mike McCready plays guitar on a few of the new songs by Star Anna. I was just casually listening to PJ radio, unaware of anyone by the name of Star Anna when this song called "Alone in this together" comes on.....

Wow

I dropped everything I was doing and was totally captivated by this voice and music. What an amazing song, so beautiful and painful at the same time. I've been checking out her website and music and I'm blown away!

There are 3 new songs streaming on her website at staranna.com and she is playing at PJ 20!

Any other fans?

    Like you, I think I became aware of her from PJ20. I purchased her two existing CDs last week and cannot wait for her new disc. Her voice is incredible...

    Absolutely. I cannot believe that I haven't heard anything by her before. This is the type of real talent that the record companies need to invest in. Not the shit they nurture today.

    I think I'm going to drive down to Seattle in a couple weeks for the Easy Street event!
    I just NEED to see her/them perform live!

    Let us know how the live experience is. No East coast dates on her calendar. :(

    Anyone get their hands on the new album yet?
    It was released on Tuesday along with a performance at Easy Street Records if I recall...
