... but it is still illegal to smoke pot in your home...
Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.

The funny thing the anti-gun crowd just fails to grasp is that when concealed carry laws are passed crime goes down according to an FBI report. Also no state that passed concealed carry has recinded it. It simply works. Law abiding people have the RIGHT to defend themselves.

No one so far has said anything about taking your guns away from you. They are questioning the the fact that the gun allows guns... in bars, when, at the same time... there is a clause in the same law that prohibits the gun carrier from consuming alcohol.
You do know what typically goes on in bars, right?
    ...
Actually, I have no problem with it. The way I see it... drunken a-holes in bars shooting each other over the skank at the end of the bar is part of God's plan to cleanse the gene pool.

Got to hand it to the NRA, they have their shit together. To me, this seems like a bad idea, but it's the N.R.A. and gun lobby essentially driving another wedge and shifting the gun laws in Ohio in their favor.

I look at it this way... I spent a year in Montreal, every once in a while in a bar, some guy would start running his mouth and a fight would break out. Now, most of the time, it wouldn't amount, maybe the dude gets shoved around, and it's broken up. We add guns into this, a bar brawl could end tragically quickly.
Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V

Guns in a bar-- is the bar owner's decision. I feel the same way about smoking, as well as the dress code.

Not sure where I stand on this one. On its face I dont think its a smart idea. Concealed. Now if worn openly? maybe. Being from this state and now a nondrinker, it doesnt really affect me. But who's to say that someone with a permit just leaves it in their car , gets hammered and pissed at somebody, makes the drunken choice to "get MY GUN" and pops a cap? It already happens with illegal weapons. I wonder , can the state and governor be sued for wrongful death? In this Repub run state I should think not, but it seems like they should be held accountable for any loss of life.

Hmm, this is the MIDwest not the WILDwest.

I'm gonna try to make an NRA/Ted Nugent type arguement, using one of the basic tools used to get their point across...
More people are killed by cars in America, than by guns... therefore, we should be able to drive our cars around while in bars.
    ...
    or something like that.
