TicketMaster is involved in their own scalping

How is this legal? Look at their sister companies. I bet they just sell to them at a higher profit while people like us keep on trying to get them from TM. They are probably also making money each time we click on their site to buy.

So pissed off. Something needs to be done

    I was thinking the same thing as I was sitting here - so frustrated! Should do a show for just 10c members only - have to show ID and member number. All we want to do is hear good music and all they are out of is the big money. Should not be allowed to have another site selling tickets.

    Yeah, between giving tickets away to corporate companies, ticketmaster also auctions off the best seats to shows at inflated prices. The fact that most people could only get balcony for the DC shows is a surefire indicator that the company is completely corrupt.

    the only thing "ticketslaves" can do is....... stop buying from ticketmaster. that is correct...you may never get to see your favorite musician(s) again.

    go on a "ticketstrike"..........but the thing with a strike, there is always someone waiting to replace you.

    It's disgusting. The only hope anyone had today was the gallery at Massey Hall in Toronto and even those couldn't be had. Tickets are sold out literally when they go on sale and then when they notify you of this they give you the option of going back and trying again or going to our sister company TicketNow and pay triple the price. I just don't comprehend how it even exists.

    Im not going to the DC show but I was trying for a friend, she was trying for one show and I was trying for her for the second, neither one of us got shit, it was 10:00am on the dot hit find tickets got nothing, and I have a T1 connection... :(

    ticketsnow for massey hall $188 for obstructed view upper level

    approx $300 for a good seat

    thats just insanity...i can barely justify paying LIST price

    Remember in January/February '09 ticketmaster will not be selling tickets through LiveNation. Eventim in Europe will be taking over selling tickets in the States. Yes DC is corrupt and I told you that to be careful when you receive your tickets at the box office at Warner Theatre.

    It truly is getting harder and harder to get decent priced tix these days, expecially with the practices that these companies use. Pretty soon they won't even bother having public sales and scalp ALL the tickets.

    Does anyone know if this was an internet only ticket sale. Did anyone try to buy their tickets from a Ticketmaster outlet? I bought Metallica tickets at an grocery store once. Was this an option for buying EV tixs?
