I've been fortunate enough to go to a couple show from EV's solo tour. Why does he not have some local radio statio person, or somebody from the tour say the following before every concert. Its really werid and awkward that Ed has to do politey say fuck off in a nice way. The same complaints are from every show.

so this person can announce the following before the show starts and EV comes on stage

1) please do not take any pictures after the first song, and this is why......blah blah

2) please do not yell out song requests. We are fortunate enough to have EV in a small venue why be a fucking tard and yell out song requests, the set list is done etc etc.

3) respect the fact Ed has taken time and honoured us by his presence.

i know this is a little abrasive but i felt very awkward for Eddie as he was doing it a politely as possible but you know he really wanted to say....turn your fucking phones off, shut the fuck up and enjoy the show...but hes too nice for that, or he doesn't want to start the show off on a weird note? Why has nobody thought of this...???

hes gotta charge something, and hes not doing it for the money...he could be charging a fuck load more if he was. if tickets sell out in seconds, he is not charging enough. personally i paid $400/pc for third row in phili. Many people would pay half of that.

i understand what you mean, but Eddie's been wearing the same shoes for the past 10 years! LOL (true story)

i'm sure he loves the money like anybody else, but with certain artists they're not in it for the money and i think the music asnwers whether or not he is...

and yes i'm honoured to see him in a small venue

I will be seeing Ed solo for the 3rd time Friday in St. Louis and I can not wait. The problem is the hecklers and idiots are not true Ed fans for the most part, they are PJ fans from a decade ago who think it would be cool to get drunk and hear EV play Jeremy acoustic. I am sure EV hates these people, but then again, he is a professional and is definitely used to it by now. I wish those people would stay away, but to keep devoting threads to these Jackasses after every show is a bit overdone.
I am excited as hell for Friday and all those shitheads will not ruin it for me!

This goes way too far. EV has taken time to make thousands of dollars in a two hour span. I while I greatly enjoy his music and feel it is worth the expensive ticket price in the long run, I have never felt honored by his presence.
