hey, just wanted to know, what is that strange feedback-esque effect mccready gets at the end of songs like parting ways think its usually on the 2000 tour?
hes like bent down turning some knobs on a pedal to get the sound and i want to know what pedal he uses and how you get this sound
ive seen this done by lots of live bands before and am just interested
any ideas guys?
seen on the end of this bad boy

Delay pedal with the feedback maxed for infinite delay...He's tweaking the delay time which also changes pitch.
He does it a lot during the outro for Black too.0 -
Thanks alot man. Did some further research and discovered mccready uses an analogue delay pedal as opposed to dogital. So i went out and bought one, albeit not the most extravagant of pedals but its still fuckin cool!
a behringer vintage analog delay pedal for £20 from ebay woo
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE INFO X0
