Was listening to chris cornell live in sweeden cd today, and just thought, what would be a great little tour would be a double headlining tour with chris and eddie. how good would that be.... and for eddie final encore chris could join him for an acoustic Hunger strike.

I am aloud to dream aren't I. :D:D:D:D:D:D

I know millions of people disagree with me but for me cornell isnt even close to eddies league.
Dont get me wrong he is one of the best rocknroll singers of all time but songwriting/charisma/story telling/timbaland effect.....ed has him licked all day and all night.
Hes playing solo here and lots of my friends are going but I just dont get it.....
I tell you lucky people there, glen hansard and ed vedder is a much better twosome than cornell/ev

    what about a jeff tweedy/ed tour.....BOOM!!!

You sound like someone who's never seen a Chris Cornell songbook show. Trust those of us who have, he's a great solo performer... not as heart-wrenching as EV, but that may just be Eddie's persona, how everything seems to emotionally affect him. Chris is a little more guarded.

It would be a fantastic contrast of styles, but both guys can sell tickets alone, so why would they split their profirs? :?:
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.

Too true why woudl they split their profirs!! I have seen Chris Cornell live many times. As much as I love his voice Ive never been totally blown away. Tweedy and Hansard have seriously blown me away every time ive seen them. Each to their own of course.

I have no idea why EV/PJ fans have such venom for CC/SG/AS. Never understood the hate. Almost like they need to knock Cornell to pump up Eddie.

I would love the double headline... If it would make everyone on this board happy, Cornell will open.

Just charge a bit less than double and keep the CC haters away!
