NEW AlBUM (OVER/UNDER)

lets make our picks winner gets, well to be the winner (that will will look good on your resume; "predicted day pearl jam's 9th album would be released). do without the over under , just pick the date, thats good enough.

1)pick the date it will be released
2)if you don't have a calender (and are too lazy to look for one) i think "2nd tue in March" or "4th tuesday in January" works well enough
( i think this is too early)
3) if your really feeling "saucy" give us a prediction on what it will sound like (preferably IN ONE WORD [just for fun] but anything is fine)


my vote;; Nov 4th 08(election day) (1st tue in Nov 08)
i think they are really going to radio-friendlyize this one. i think it will be more "POPY"

    My guess is Tuesday, June 10th. That's the day before the East Coast tour starts.

    I think it will have more pop elements in it to try to get new fans. It has been said in articles that they could handle the fame better now.

    I can't describe it in one so I have three: BEST. ALBUM. EVER!

    I picked 7 months from July, which is when they are supposed to go back into the studio to record a second session w/ Brendan O'Brien.

    I think that with Brendan producing he will continue the 'evolution' of the Pearl Jam sound and help the band get back to the point where Yield left off and progress a bit more from that style sound.... it will be like Yield but a bit edgier and more epic...

    i agree i highly doubt it will come out this year. it might even come out next summer

    Mike said they have 5 "ideas". Maybe it's already done and they took a pact to say nothing 'til it's finished. Just a little misinformation.

    ive heard on the radio today that they have been in the studio and a new album to be released some time in Dec . . .

    so ill go with Dec 9th

    First Tuesday in February- will be different a different sound, not drastic, some people will love it, others won't. It will be like the music playing in the Picture in a Frame DVD when they are riding the bus right after Mike talks about hiding under the Scorpions limo. Lots of Gossard/Ament[/Vedder] work. You heard it here first.

    My gut says April 14th -09

    They've just started sketching, and with a few gigs thrown in..the holidays...yeah, i'm saying April 14th, 2009

    Already lookin forward to it...and the tour...which won't be nearly as all encompassing as the last one,, so I'm savin my money to get to the closest one I can..or three....
