i cant cry
i cant feel
everything you were
youve ceased to be
but im okay

you used to be
so much to me
the memories are good
yet bittersweet

i counted the days
they turned into months
the silence enveloped my being
but youve ceased to be


all you were
and all you were
was almost
my everything

the thing you werent was me
and for awhile that was lost
but now i see
what wasnt wasnt me
it was you
hear my name
take a good look
this could be the day
hold my hand
lie beside me
i just need to say
