Definitely a great show, my first Eddie solo show and one to remember! But, I was actually disappointed with the crowd. Maybe because I was sitting 35 rows back and was able to see alot, but I felt annoyed multiple times. A lot of people just throughout the show were constantly shuffling in and out of rows probably to get more beer or take a piss but that was annoying the fuck out of me. Their is a reason their is a break between acts and even for the encores. Also, I felt like the crowd just wanted to erupt as if it were a Pearl Jam concert. It is Eddie solo and I thought it was going to be a little laid back where I can just sit listen and be in awe. But I felt like anytime it would get quiet people just felt obligated to yell something (like their 3 seconds of fame). How many effing times did I hear some dude yell, "I Am A Patriot." For future reference, Eddie has his setlist, you are NOT going to change it. In the politest of ways, Eddie finally decided to play, "Tonight You Belong To Me" WITHOUT a microphone. I felt like this was his way of saying, "Shut the fuck up and just listen." I tried to do so, hanging on to every word, but as soon as their is a pause between notes, someone just has to yell something that always carried on to the next note. I love energy but their is a time and place for it and you just have to know when to go off, like during Porch, Unthought Known, and especially Hard Sun. Great, great show...not so great crowd.

show was absolutely amazing. I was sitting on the aisle seat in row HH and people were walking up and down alot, but I just dealt with it and adjusted my view as they all walked by. It was a great energy though, you can tell that the crowd was pumped and everyone was there to have a great time, and when you drink alot you have a tendency to have to pee alot so i aint mad at them :)

I was upstairs and that balcony was shaking during hard sun...didn't know whether to enjoy the ride or run for my life! Awestruck by it all
  • The wife and I flew in from Houston, TX for the Detroit show and let me tell you it was worth the trip. Fantastic show and wonderful setlist to boot. First time to see Eddie play an organ. I noticed what the other poster mentioned about the crowd as well but I was so engrossed in the show that the shouts, yelps and constant beer or bathroom runs didn't bother me. If you ever get the opportunity to see a Vedder solo show please find the resources to do so. Totally worth it. See ya Labor Day weekend.

Brought my son to his first concert last night. Amazing!!!
But it's pretty bad when even a 10 year old says these people that keep getting up are missing a good show. The guys a couple of rows in front of us were up and back down to their seats every 20 min.
I mean really ! Are you their to see a show or are you 18 again getting wasted a your buddy's house when his parents are out if town ?
