Does anyone know if the MTV Unplugged DVD is All Regions (0) coded so that can be seen everywhere or Region 1 coded, which means it can only be seen In USA and Canada?
09/20/92 - Warren G. Magnuson Park: Seattle, WA (Free Festival) [70m]
attendance: 29,000 free tickets distributed
support acts: Pete Droge, Lazy Susan, Cypress Hill, Shawn Smith, Seaweed, Jim Rose
set: Even Flow, Once, State of Love and Trust, (Angie riffs) Why Go, Deep, Jeremy, Black, Alive, Garden, (Walkaway)/Porch/(Tearing), Sonic Reducer, Rockin' in the Free World
notes: This concert ("A Drop in the Park") was the rescheduled date for the originally planned May 20 Gas Works Park free show. Despite some traffic difficulties, the show went rather well. Reportedly, this effort for Rock the Vote inspired approximately 3,000 young people to register to vote. Ed comments, "If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome." This show probably cost PJ $100,000 of their own money to sponsor. Ed tosses the mic high above, it catches over the scaffolding, he climbs up a pole--hanging for a bit--and then slides down the cord. Ed notes early in the show, "This is like the OK Hotel times one million." Ministry's drummer and Bruce Fairweather (Mother Love Bone) join PJ in 'RitFW.' At the show's close, Ed exclaims, "I can't believe we did it! You did it!" smiling

hmm......first post under my new name. What is this "drop in the park" all about? anybody know?
Drop in the Park is BY FAR and away one of my biggest PJ regrets. My buddy Dan and I didn't go because he had to work at Wendy's and I had to work at a video store. Because of our "work ethics" we didn't just call in sick to go to this historic concert. We still talk about it and what a regret it is. Hind sight, we both should have just walked off the job to go to the show. He and I somewhat made up for it by getting into the Showbox in 2004 for PJ, but still, that was no Drop in the Park.
Shipping to Europe is an absolute joke if its free to anywhere in the US.
$190 in total.
Whats the deal 10C?? Is it really costing $50 to ship??
As said above that's my only complain about this super deluxe edition. I hope we won't have to wait 4 to 8 weeks to get it once it shipped. Because with 50$ shipping, they must be sending it with a rocket to get it super fast.
Its not the speed that they are sending it at that is driving the shipping costs, it is the fact that this whole package will probably weigh like 20 pounds. Weight, not speed is what makes these shipping costs so much
Does anyone know if the Super Deluxe Edition is limited? I REALLY want to get it, but it'll have to wait until the 1st of the new year...think it'll still be up for grabs?

First of all this is really great news, especially we who rather listen to vinyl! I really hope that the vinyls will be good quality with no noise, and that they'll use some good vinyl presses. Just hope all re-issue albums will come out as vinyls, too.
And secondly, about the price... I was wondering what the retail price will be when the Super Deluxe Edition hits the record stores? I calculated that I have to pay 139 euros (including shipping) if I pre-order it now. Then there's the risk that it gets stuck in the customs here in Finland and then i have to pay about 31 euros (22%) more in tax. That makes the total price as much as 170 euros (for you US fans: 233 US $! That's 93 dollars more than you get it for, you lucky bastards!!!!
Any speculations on the retail price both in the US and Europe. We international fans need some information. These high shipping prices are a real downside, especially when there's going to be more of these sets.
Is there any other difference between the pre-order set and the record store set, other than the chance to get the autographed set? Of course it would be sweet to get the autographed set but the price is a bit high!
I'll buy it in the end anyway, just don't know from where.

Apparently Amazon had the set for pre-order a few days ago, and then it was taken down. I believe the price over there was $190. So for now it looks like Tenclub is the best bet, though the shipping charges really suck. Good luck.

Thanks for the information. I just ordered it from TenClub.
free shipping in the US and $50 for shipping in Europe...
that's unfair... us buyers should at least pay $10 so that we, europeans, could pay $30 or $40...
I'm buying one though
