I haven't been able to get into his solo albums since Sometimes. I've been playing the earlier Alexisonfire albums lately though and I kind of miss the old Dallas.

    Great album.
"I try my best to chug, stomp, weep, whisper, moan, wheeze, scat, blurt, rage, whine, and seduce. With my voice I can sound like a girl, the boogieman, a Theremin, a cherry bomb, a clown, a doctor, a murderer. I can be tribal. Ironic. Or disturbed. My voice is really my instrument."

Really knocked out by this record. I like that he beefed things up a little bit and can't wait to see a lot of these tunes live.

Mate, I couldn't agree more. Never heard his earlier stuff in this form, have heard a little of Alexisonfire. So wrapt you got me onto this album, have had it on all week now.
