I was looking at the song catalog, and noticed that the Beacon Theatre show is not counted in the Last Played/ Times Played. Don't get it.....
It stops at 6/30.

I don't understand it either. I mean the setlist for the secret benefit date in Hawaii is up there, but the Beacon isn't.

It was in ESPN the magazine. The blurb in their action sports section said that Pearl Jam was playing a secret show for the Pipeline competition that will be impossible to get into. The Beacon was relatively easy to get into.

By your line of reason the Chicago HOB show for Katrina shouldn't be listed either.

    Yeah... that's how I feel...
So strange... don't understand what the big deal is...
I just wanted to keep track of the rarity of the songs I've seen.. but the 'Times Played' is obviously not correct.

I just emailed the Ten Club about why the Beacon show isn't listed. If I get an answer, I'll post it on here.

If that's your biggest quandary, just add 1 to every song that was played at the Beacon. You're a PJ fan, shouldn't be that difficult for you. As for the last date played, I think you know it.

    absolutely!

i haven't looked on the site, but it's sad to know it's not there. i am sure at some point i will ant to review/remember the setlist, most especially without a BOOTLEG *hint, hint*......having it listed on the site would be it.

i agree that i just don't understand why, at the very least, there isn't a setlist for the show on the 10c site. was this not a show?? benefit or not... it's still a show.

i mean all the bridge schools are on here...

No... You sounded rude and ignorant in your first post on this thread as well.

They only played for money here?

    Uppity crowd?

Either you were joking... which I thought until I read the above post.... Or you are just a rather ignorant sounding person.

OP.... Original post is a good question. I had wondered that too....

For what it's worth I have a setlist from the show hanging on the wall next to me right now.

My uppity friends (that don't really like Pearl Jam) and I were all there rocking our asses off!!!! :):):):)

People are so testy. The only reason that I think this show had a different 'vibe' to it stems from what Ed said at Mansfield II about this gig. Something to the effect of going to New York and playing so they could make a bunch of money.

Search my posts, if you still think i'm rude, so be it.
Personally, well, i don't care what you think. Now that's rude.

Ha ha ha... This whole thread "issue" cracks me up.

Ed was probably referring to playing so they could make a lot of money...as he was really happy to be doing something good (raising a lot of money) for a really good cause. Not inside the head of Ed or any other band members (obviously) but I didn't take that as "only playing this gig for money"...pretty much the opposite if you ask me!! (Not that you did!)

That said. This show was really awesome. I've been to A LOT of shows and this one was in no way lacking.

Ha. It was no Columbia. ;)

We're on the same page here. I said a tongue in cheek comment about the show right on par with what Ed said at Mansfield and of course I get flamed. I'd expect nothing less on this board. As for why it's not listed, got no fucking clue, don't care. If need be, I'll create my own web page with the setlist listed.

I'd take Columbia over the Beacon as well.
