The Night 1 '98 in Camden, closing with Porch!! And the '03 Spectrum were unreal. I've never been to a show anywhere for anyone that had the passion Philly had for that Spectrum show!!

Jesus H. Christ people, do we really need to do this again?

every single stinking time they tour the east coast this board is overloaded with "our city is better than your city" crap

    how old are you?

that being said, I'm from Massachusetts but reside in the Philadlephia area, so I win either way :D

Totally agree with you. That was the loudest crowd I have ever heard for any concert I have attended and that includes 37 PJ shows and numerous other bands.

Everyone always makes a big deal how 2004 was the first Boston show in Boston proper in 10 years. Well the Spectrum show in 03 was the first show in Philly proper in 11 years and the crowd was crazy that night.

I'd agree with that...... the loudest non-sporting event I've ever been to.

What was remarkable, was I was sitting with the ten club, so of course we are diehards.
My point is lookin up into the rafters during alive, watching all these non ten clubbers taking the crowd over, wow it was fucking nuts, me and the wife just looked at eachother and smiled

it was some serious pj singing and chanting, I never saw anythign like it.
It felt like 91 all over again.
Some people have religion I have Pearl Jam.

    no more shows
  • where else philly beats boston is with its friendliness amongst fans, the usuals always welcome evryone to tailgate, and I never see that with boston.

But Boston does give some severe pj love also.

I will be having fun in Philly, Mansfield/Boston, AND NYC. I expect fans at all of these shows will rock very respectably! Given the fact that I live in upstate NY, the opportunity to get to any of these interesting cities is a plus. I have met nice fans at each of these locations in the past. Peace love and Pearl Jam to my east coast brethren. :)

Right on! Remember what Ed said at Camden II in 06, "The great Northeast has been very good to us...." while raising a bottle to the crowd. Camden will no doubt ROCK both nights! See all of you in the S-Center.

You could find pretentious fans anywhere if you looked hard enough i guess. Funnily enough, there are decent people in Boston too. Whatever kind of look you were going for, you missed.

No trash talking here. Looking forward to meeting kick ass PJ fans, kicking a few bucks to folks who'll use it to do good, and hearing different sets and surprises at all 13 shows. 54 days and counting until WPB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
