This isn't the first time. She has been covering this song for a long time.

And in the future, can you please refrain from using language like "Miley Cyrus" on this board?

So? Maybe someone in the crowd will buy a Nirvana record because of it...

TA, didn't you start another thread about her covering SLTS a while ago? It seems like there are more threads about her covering it than about the Nirvana version lately... She's 18 years old, do I like her music? No. But maybe she likes the song and wants to play it, I can think of a lot worse songs for her to be playing.

    Can't remember, maybe I did.
I thought it was a one off but she'd performing the song often.
Krist and Dave need to stop this.

Seriously, who cares? Maybe Miley will be fronting a kick ass rock band in 10 years. 20 years ago, could any of us have imagined Eddie Vedder covering Dream a Little Dream on his ukelele?

Or...someone will throw away their copy because of it.

In the video I seen the band actually pulled it off pretty well. Miley should've walked off stage in shame for her part, but I guess she prolly can't find it anymore.

Why exactly? I doubt this really pisses off Dave, he seems like a pretty relaxed, laid back, live let live type of guy.

How would they stop it anyway? Start a twitter campaign?

Cobain himself couldn't stop it, only Billy Ray.

Pretty much... How many musicians in high school performed some bad covers of popular songs? I bet most of them. Let her be.

    I kinda like Miley Cyrus.

Her music is mostly awful, her dad sucks, and her sitcom is completely terrible... but she seems like a nice kid.

Maybe it's just me comparing her favorably to Lindsay Lohan, but no house arrest > house arrest.
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.

The way she dressed for her show was a disgrace.
Dressing like a whore when her audience are little kids and tweens.

Not after the way she butchers it. They might think the song is really as bad as she sings it.

agree and uhh Ed hasn't exactly nailed all the covers he has performed live either. i've never understood why people get so up in arms about these teens and what they are singing. it's not meant for you so let it be.
