I was sold a fraudulent ticket for tonight's 6/22 show. We have to do something to stop this type of thing. It's just not right...

Hate to be the one to say it, but they warn against buying tickets from outside sources for a reason.

you have no one to blame but yourself if you get scammed

like the saying goes, buyer beware
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

the only way to avoid this is never ever buy from anyone except someone you can trace back and take legal action against.
I have sold tickets at face price on craigslist and I always put in the ad that I will show my drivers license and I will show the original envelope the tickets came in from Ticketrmaster.

with hundreds of dollars at steak, you must protect yourself.
pay the premium on Stubhub for the personal relaxation that you are definitely getting in.

I have seen scalpers outside MSG and Yankee Stadium who are willing to walk up to the turnstile with you to see that the tickets scan but that is usually when they are getting face price for tickets and they are bending over backwards to get rid of the tickets instead of eating them.

never ever trust a scalper on the street and if you buy on craigslist, ask for id and dont be afraid to wip out your cell phone and take a picture of the guy.
