Some info on Eddie 'All the Way' limited CD release...

Was listening to the radio today and heard they are releasing a limited edition CD single of All the Way in the Chicago area. They did not give a date but they made it sound like it would be really soon (possibly even in the next day or two).

They said Walgreens, Best Buy and I believe one other chain would be carrying it.

I'll try to get some extras for trading as well, but this is the info I heard today... fun times. You can also get the song from cubs.com (which brings you back to pearljam.com apparently).

    I'll hold out for the vinyl 45. Also, if it's in a BB or any other retail store, chances are it will be on Pearl Jam's website. Besides, wouldn't it be a 10c release anyways? I'm sure the PJ fans would get first crack at it as opposed to Chicago area Cubs fans.

    Available at Wrigley Field and select Walgreens, Best Buy and Sports Authority stores next Wednesday.

    I wonder if it would be on Best Buys website to buy everywhere or a store only purchase? I live in MA and am a Red Sox fan but I really want to see the Cubbies win a WS.

    I'm sure it'll be available through the 10C as well.

    That sounds great though I'm looking forward to a 45 release.

    due to the fact that it is supposed to be in Walgreen stores it seems like it is a Cubs marketing thing and not an Eddie/10C

    whenever the cubs market different things they are usually available at Walgreens

    where I saw a TV commercial saying that it would be available today at select Walgreen's and bestbuy stores

    I went to 2 different best buys and they knew nothing of it....

    Apparently, the CDs are due to arrive via UPS sometime today.

    Confirmed, Walgreens is getting them in this afternoon. Just got off the phone. I will pick up one.

    Yeah, it's playing pretty consistently on three different stations, Wlup, WXRT,Q101...gives me goosebumps every time i hear it.

    The Walgreens in the SW Burbs know about them...they said they were to arrive Tuesday night, still not in as of Wednesday night.
