I think Pearl Jam should consider me as an addition. I could be the Ed O'Brien of Pearl Jam. You want a strum at the start or end of a bar? Done. You want me to pluck away a two note riff that's been layed w/ effects? Fuck yeah. You want me to cusp my hands and shout background vocals? Where do I sign?

Great song. I also read that Daily Mail is performed during this FTB "film". When you think of what the sessions from TKOL (and post TKOL)have produced so far, you have some really amazing shit. The album, Supercollider/Butcher, These Are My Twisted Words, In Memory Of, Staircase...all good. What anyone was expecting? No, but I still enjoy the shit out of the album and all of these other tunes.

Yeah, he seemed bored (and somewhat sad, actually) during this performance. He actually plays lead guitar on some of their songs though, so it's not like he never does anything.

I love this song. Amazing to me that The Butcher, Supercollider, and this one The Staircase were all left off KOL. I hope they team this track up with something else and release another 12" vinyl single. That would be awesome.

Well, it's been revealed that they played another new song called "The Daily Mail" during the taping of the From the Basement session, so maybe down the line they'll do a "Staircase"/"The Daily Mail" double A-side release.
