Just went on ticketmaster and no tickets pulling up for either show, not even in the behind the stage nosebleeds. I wonder if they will release some great seats day of.

Side note- Out of curiosity I pulled up REM, Modest Mouse at Jones Beach
and they were showing prime orchestra seats avail, too bad I am not a big fan of neither.

My experience with ticketmaster has been that periodically more tickets are 'dropped'. You just have to keep checking whenever you think of it. I got GA Springsteen tickets to a 'sold out' show in Rochester in March, 1 week before the event that way. Keep checking and I bet eventually you'll get something.

Yeah, I got a "gold" ticket in the 100s for the "sold out" Toronto 2, '06 on the day of (the day before nothing was coming up). You never know. I'm in the nosebleeds for both MSG, but I just didn't want to risk it and at least I'm there ;)

That is what I am hoping for, even though I am satisfied with my seats, I am still behind the stage. I'll be checking everyday, in hopes of some magical appearance. I know last summer I got 5th row for Tool that way.

    not surprising.
also, as jane states...tickets always 'pop up' later. just always have to keep checking if you so desire. however, hell yes.....i WOULD fully expect pj to sell out MSG.

if the knicks can somehow get 21 sellouts, then pearl jam can most certainly fill the building......

MSG had no drops when Springsteen was there last year. Don't be too sure they'll have them for PJ,this was an extremely tough ticket!

The Knicks have fewer seats to sell--- the basketball floor takes up the whole floor. But I have no doubt every seat will be full for PJ

There are always seats held back for various reasons. Band member tix, promo tix, staff tix, corporate tix etc....When they don't get claimed they go into the for sale pool and usually on the day of. A lot of arenas have a set time that this will happen, so it helps to check with the box office as early as possible if you want to scoop them up. I always thought it was a local thing, but have since learned that it happens at all arenas. I wouldn't plan your trip around them, mind you.

foo fighters sold out MSG in feb. I went there with no tickets. There was a good 100-150 person line waiting for a re-release an hour before the show. I ended up paying 90 bucks for 300's at the opposite end of the arena. And PJ will be a tougher ticket.

I'm gonna keep checking to see if I can get get anything better than Section 414 for Night 2.

Actually I have tix for both nights. msg 1-sec 329/ msg2-sec 406. I have no doubt they are selling out both nights, but unless theres a last minute drop it looks like it's the scalpers or stub hub/ ebay. Which already my section (406) is almost double face value and floor seats are starting in the mid hundreds.
We all saw this coming, didn't we.

Even so that's damn good. Even though they don't seem to be in the top sales-wise today, they keep bringing people to the concerts. Oh, how I love this band! ^^
