A strange question, I know, but I want to watch some old NBA games. Games from the 80's, 90's... does anybody know of a site that has this available?

Thanks man. I used to watch those on NBA TV when I was living with the rents. I'm too cheap to pay for it. Maybe some day.

I'd really like to watch some match-ups that would take me back.

There was a website that emulated NHL '94 and ran leagues, but I have not been to it in a while. Do some searches and I bet somebody has an emulator for old games you are interested in.

I'll do that, thanks. I was lazy at first and didn't want to go through all the Google results, but it seems that is what I'll need to do.

My biggest fear is downloading a virus when going to a game emulator website.

Really, the best way to go is to find a used Genesis or Super Nintendo and go find games at your local game shop. Most games can be found for between $5 - $20. I stocked up with some oldies on the NES a few years back and every once in a while a Super Tecmo Bowl tourney will randomly occur when friends are over.

Oh, I was actually speaking more along the lines of real, previously televised games, not any video or computer game.

In any case, we are in agreement about the fear of downloading a virus when searching for those games.

You might be able to find a torrent site with some classics... I had an account at an NHL Torrents site, but just tried to get back in and my account doesn't exist. They have links for http://www.hoftorrents.com/ which could be good, but they aren't accepting any new members either.

Your best be is probably a trader board. I know a guy who is big into it, mainly with hockey, and he finds guys to trade games with all of the time.

I've never really used a torrent. Are they safe?

it was fun watching what many consider the all time best team in league history last night.

it was also nice to see tough hard nosed defense on both sides and zero flops. rodman took a forearm to the throat and fell back but didn't fall down like a certain "power" forward on south beach falls when hit by a cool summer breeze

Rodman was awesome. An ideal defender. Oh how I miss the 90's NBA.

I watched some old clips of Chuck on his website today. Game 3, Western Semi-Finals, 1994, Phoenix @ Golden State... Charles had a monster game. A fucking monster I tell you.

I think this link will work, I did a very particular search on basketball-reference.com (I love this website):

    http://www.basketball-reference.com/pla ... der_by=pts

Check out the stats. 56 pts with .742 FG% and 23/31 FG, 3/4 3P, 7/9 FT, Rebounds, Blocks, Steals... Sir Charles at his best.

Say what you will, Barkley was an awesome player.

there are people out there who have amassed a large collection. I dont know about the NBA, but I have a contact who has a ton of old Buffalo Sabres and Bills games from all eras including various compilations. They would probably sell a copy or trade.

    Check various NBA/Jazz message boards.
