It's kind of funny the differences between their message boards and here. Like night and day. If you ever want to listen to negative, pessimistic, sarcastic a holes....here's where you can get your phix....

  • That is not really a Phish message board. The band has nothing to do with it, that's why it's such anarchy on there. It's fun to be a tourist there, but after a while it gets on your nerves. It's the internet at it's worst where people can be anonymous and shitty.

Well said. That's exactly how I feel. Fun to visit, but after about 10 minutes I need to take anti depressants or something. Love Phish though.

i've met great people on PT. it was better during the break though, lol.

but i've gotten tickets for very difficult shows from there, hampton, halloween, etc. it's just like "the porch" here, you just gotta filter through the noise sometimes.

It's the same as the Coachella and Lollapalooza boards - full of Internet cool kids who get their rocks off of mocking anybody who doesn't share their opinion.

Very frustrating if you're not a sarcastic jerk, and you actually want to discuss music with others who enjoy music. This board is pretty awesome in that regard, usually the sarcastic jerks are shamed by the regular folks.
Is it too much to ask for a full-blown Temple of the Dog set? Probably.
