Yeah, like you I have been off the message boards for quite a while.

Me and my daughter are flying in from IL, probably the Saturday before.
Not sure we are planning yet but we did see a mall and a nice shopping district that we will probably hit.

I am bringing my 12 year old daughter to her first concert ever. My wife has been to pj several times. I have to bring Mara this time. She is excited.
I had her listening to pj in the womb!

The daughter I am bringing is 19, she'll turn 20 two days after the show.

All of my kids want to come with me so bad, but as Emaline, she is the daughter coming with me, says I need an adult to watch me so I don't do anything bad :D

Can't wait for SC. My wife and I will be there. We aren't sure yet when we'll be leaving that day, but I hope it's early enough to tailgate and meet a few of you. This will be my wife's second show and my seventh.

Hey Big Ed & All itwould be kind of cool to meet up.

I know a lot of folks were talking about going to the flying saucer (bar near colonial center) before hand for a meet up, but i think i'm just going to set up shop in the parking lot and tailgate before the game.

Perahps as it gets closer we can get a meet up going.

Oh wow I am in Wood River all the time at the Super (evil LOL) Walmart. It is the only grocery store around here that is open 24 hrs, well and where I can buy anything else we might need at 3 am!
Yep neighbors! I am right off Main Street in Edwardsville. My daughter , Emaline the one who is coming with me, works at Slackers in Glen Carbon so if anyone ever brings in any PJ stuff she knows to grab it for me!

So, I just became a member of the 10 club in early January, so my number is like 481xxx or so. Will my seats be decent? I know people with numbers in the 3xxxxx say they will be far back, but for those that have been in the back, are the seats generally good? I'll be happy no matter what, and I may have a shot at rows 1-2 or 9-10, but I'm just kind of curious.

How cool! We are at that WalMart at all hours also being that I bartend and rarely have regular hours. Very funny about your daughter, I work at Alton Applebees and I am on a first name basis with all of the Slackers employees next door. Used to frequent the Glen Carbon Slackers when I worked at that A-Bees about 10 yrs. ago! Small World.

I think it will be a toss up, but all of the fan club seats should be very good.

  • I think you're right Big Ed and by looking at the venue, doesn't look to be a bad seat in the place.

    Someone mentioned one bar earlier.

Any others that could be recommended for a few post-show drinks?
